Quick Southern Slaw 高麗菜沙拉(快速上菜)

Coleslaw is the one side that you’ll always find at any backyard BBQ or BBQ restaurant. It just ain’t a party without the slaw, ya know? This slaw is VERY quick to make and is a crowd pleaser for sure. It’s quite simple, but slaw isn’t something that needs to be complicated. It’s the perfect amount of creamy, it has a nice crunch, and the apple cider vinegar is keepin’ the party bright.

Eat it as a side or do as I do. Slap it on a pork sandwich and wash it down with an ice cold beer.


Serves – 4

Prep time  – 10 minutes
Ready in – 10 minutes

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 medium green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled then grated
  • 2 cloves roasted garlic, chopped

1. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in bowl. Whisk until smooth.

2. Add cabbage, carrot, and roasted garlic to large bowl. Add mayonnaise mixture and toss to combine.

3. Cover and put in the fridge until ready to serve.

  • 1 杯美乃滋
  • 1 湯匙蘋果醋
  • 1 餐匙蜂蜜
  • 1 茶匙鹽
  • ½ 茶匙黑胡椒
  • 1 顆高麗菜,細切並取四人份的量
  • 1 根紅蘿蔔,削皮後切絲
  • 2 瓣烤蒜頭,切碎

1. 將美乃滋、醋、蜂蜜、鹽與黑胡椒加入碗中搗均勻。

2. 準備一個大沙拉碗,放入高麗菜、紅蘿蔔、烤蒜頭,並將步驟1混合後的美乃滋倒入攪拌。

3. 蓋上保鮮膜後,放入冰箱直到可以準備上桌囉!
